Communications service and equipment is nothing new to RKL Communications, Inc., as the founder has been around the telephone industry all his life. Mr. Little (Kim) was raised in central Illinois where his father worked for Inland, Midland, Lakeside and Prairie Telephone Companies. After high school and (some) college; Kim has worked for a Telecommunications consulting firm in Lamar, Missouri where he has seasoned himself for the past 30 years. The idea of starting the business came about as a result of working for this consulting firm, Finley Engineering Company, Inc.

Communications equipment and service demands are growing at an unbelievable pace. Telephone operating companies are often hard pressed to install the necessary equipment in a timely manner to meet these demands. In turn we have expanded to provide installation services for the telephone operating companies.

As a result of this expansion, Mr. Nathaniel Joe Little (son of Kim Little) has actively been providing installation services since his junior year in high school and enjoys working with the public. Since graduation from high school in 1996, Nathan attended Lincoln Trail College in Robinson, Illinois and graduated in 1998 with an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Telecommunications. Nathan is now actively installing various manufacturer’s equipment on a full time basis. Working with Advanced Fiber Communications from the middle of 2003 gained a well versed knowledge of switched video deployments and broadband access systems.
